BLEPHAROPLASTY

Eyelid surgery, medically referred to as blepharoplasty, is designed to remove fat and/or excess skin from the eyelids. It can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both. This procedure can help you look younger, more refreshed and more alert. Hooding of the upper eyelid can obstruct your vision, so its removal could actually improve the quality of your peripheral vision. Puffiness in the upper eyelid can cause patients to appear old and tired, therefore, upper eyelid surgery can create a more alert and younger appearance. Upper eyelid surgery can enhance the shape, position, and depth of the eyelid crease.

Lower eyelid surgery is performed to remove the puffiness found in the lower eyelid. Often referred to as “bags” under the eyes, the accumulation of excess fat and skin, resulting from age and other factors, causes that puffy appearance in the lower eyelid, which makes people look older and tired. Removal of bulging fat in the lower eyelid can result in a younger, rested and alert appearance.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE FOUR LID BLEPHAROPLASTY

This is a combination procedure performed in the office under local anesthesia on patients who are candidates (discussed during consultation). Four-lid blepharoplasty consists of excision of excess upper eyelid skin and laser resurfacing of lower eyelid skin.

FACELIFT

Aging of the face is inevitable, and with time, the skin of the face and neck loosen. Age, sun exposure, gravity, and genetics all contribute to skin changes. Fine lines become wrinkles and gradually deeper folds. The jaw line softens into jowls, and beneath the chin excess skin starts to sag. Facelift surgery can help reverse the negative effects of time, stress, and the elements.

A facelift restores a refreshed, youthful contour to loose skin and softens wrinkles without looking tight or unnatural. Others may be happier with their results if they combine a facelift surgery with other procedures, such as a neck lift or forehead lift (also called “brow lift”).

LASER RESURFACING

After a certain point, visible signs of aging like deeper wrinkles, skin laxity and discoloration are impossible to treat with skincare. Surgical lifting procedures aren’t the only answer, since they address excess skin and the underlying musculature and not the superficial skin appearance and sun damage. Deep laser resurfacing addresses damage on the skin’s surface by removing the uppermost layers and allowing it be replaced with fresh, new, younger-looking skin. This procedure provides dramatic improvement for deep wrinkles and fine lines. In addition to removing the damaged layers of the skin, laser resurfacing also sends heat deep into the skin, where it stimulates fibroblasts to form new collagen and elastin. As opposed to fractional resurfacing treatments, the erbium YAG laser treats 100% of the skin’s surface, resulting in significantly smoother, tighter skin and unparalleled improvement in wrinkles, skin texture and skin tone.

FILLERS/NEUROTOXINS

DERMAL FILLERS (RESTYLANE, RESTYLANE SILK, PERLANE, JUVEDERM, VOLUMA XC, SCULPTRA, BOTOX AND DYSPORT)

Dermal fillers help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness in the face. As we age, our faces naturally lose subcutaneous fat. The facial muscles are then working closer to the skin surface, so smile line and crow’s feet become more apparent. The facial skin also stretches, adding to the loss of facial volume. Other factors that affect the facial skin include sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle. Dermal fillers can be used to plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, improve the appearance of recessed scars and soften facial creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers can be very helpful in those with early signs of aging, or as a value-added part of facial rejuvenation.

OTOPLASTY

Otoplasty: Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear.

Otoplasty can correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth that becomes apparent with development or it can treat misshapen ears caused by injury.

Ear surgery creates a natural shape, while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem. If protruding or disfigured ears bother you or your child, you may consider plastic surgery.

NECK LIFT

The loss of youthful contours in the face and neck can be due to a variety of factors, including heredity, gravity, environmental conditions and stress. Some people feel they are not ready for a full facelift because the upper face is still pleasing. However, many patients will note excess wrinkling of the neck skin, a “turkey wattle” or double chin, and jowl lines. When the neck area doesn’t match the upper facial appearance, a neck lift may be a good solution.

FOREVER YOUNG BBL

Whether you’ve begun to notice sun damage, less elasticity, an uneven skin tone, tiny capillary veins or maybe you’re looking for a non-invasive procedure to refresh your overall appearance, a series of BBL treatments has been shown to greatly improve not only skin appearance but cell rejuvenation. This is an ideal “anti-aging” procedure, requiring little to no downtime, for patients interested in delaying the signs of time and aging on the face.
